I was doing the dishes and I realized that I hadn't heard Lily in a while. That usually isn't a good sign. Usually it is pulling on the toliet paper or putting things in the toilet. Well I started saying her name an no answer. We only have two rooms that she could go into. I couldn't find her in either room. I started looking everywhere. Well I found her on the other side of our bed which we never use. The wall in on an angle so it gets smaller as you get closer to the top of the bed. There she was sitting tucked up at the top chewing on Chad's cell phone charger. I snapped the pictured and then realized it was plugged into the wall and thought she was getting electricuted. I pulled it out of her mouth. I put it into mine to see what it felt like. Just incase you were wondering it has a little zing to it. Not to bad though I don't know why she liked it.

What a beautiful little girl you have.
A few years ago, Kai decided that he knew enough to fix the faceplate in his room, it didn't cover the hole. Then I sent Coby to his room for a time out, and he walked out with the face plate. I was making dinner so I didn't do anything about it immediately. When I sent Kai in for a time out, I had completely forgotten about it, but I quickly remembered when I heard a high pitched pained scream then crying. My poor Kai got zapped! When I rushed in, he told me "Mommy, I want you to put the cover back on. It hurts!" Laughter, cut through the fear. I couldn't deny his request so, I took one from our room and covered it. His middle and ring finger were tender. He has a greater appreciation for the dangers of electricity.

Hi Aimee! I had to check your blog after seeing you today! I am so sad that I stopped checking awhile ago because there was a phase where there was just a slide show post that didn't change for awhile :) so I thought maybe you weren't doing the blog thing, but boy was I wrong! It has been so great to catch up on posts and see what is up in your life! Lily is soo cute! I am sorry I couldn't spend more time with you today. I felt really bad! I hope you didn't have any traffic when you came and I hope Lily was ok missing her nap! I love that there is another child with just a little hair ;) Honestly she has quite a bit more than Halle! But it gives me something to look forward to. Sorry this is soo long. This post is really funny by the way! Did you ever put your tongue on a battery? I remember doing that on purpose in elementary school, maybe she just kind of thought it was a cool feeling. haha. Let's get together seriously!!!!
