Lily Bug

For Halloween our stake had a trunk or treat. It was so fun getting together with friends and seeing all there cute kids dressed up and so excited about it. Lily was a Lady Bug and she looked so cute. She actually liked wearing it. I thought for sure that she would want to pull it right off.

Our Routine

This is our routine pretty much every morning and I love it. Lily wakes up at 7:00 and she loves coming in and laying on her dad watching baby einstein. She will never do it withme it's onl with her dad. It is the cutest thing seeing her snuggle in and having some daddy time before he goes to school. She loves putting her head on his neck and then putting her face on his cheek. It just makes you heart go flip flop to see it. Then we get up and get in the bath. She loves her bath chair, and so do I. I would totally recommend it. It's one of my favorite things.

Love Hate Relationship

Once a month I travel up to Utah to work for a week. When I go there it is a love hate relationship. I love it because I really enjoy doing hair and seeing my clients. I've been doing them all for so long they have become like friends to me. I enjoy catching up with them, and hearing what's going on in there lives. I also love coming up and being with family. There is something about being around family that is so comforting. They have been so great to help me out while I come up and work. They all take turns arranging there schedule so watch Lily. I'm so blessed to have such a great supportive family that takes time out of there busy lives to help me.
The one thing I hate is that I work really long hours so I'm not able to be with Lily that much. My sister took this picture. I had just got home from working about 10 hours. Just in time to give Lil's her bottle and put her to bed. As you can see we both couldn't keep our eyes open. I'm so greatful that I am able to be with Lily for most of the time. The week that I work I feel like I miss so much of her life. I have so much respect for mother's who aren't able to be with there children. Even single mother's Chad schooling has been pretty intense and sometimes I feel like I am a single mother and it's hard. I'm so proud of Chad and all of is hard work. I have gained such a strong testimony of families and for the roles of a mother and father, and the importance it takes on both ends to make a family run smoothly.

Something is a little off

Lily is about 9 months in this picture. I was getting her dressed one morning and I had button up her pants and was ready to set her down to go play and I noticed something was a little off. I'm not sure what I was thinking putting both legs in one pant hole. Motherhood has wiped away a lot of my brain cells. Poor little Lily is looking at me like there is something a little wrong. Maybe she is wondering why she can't move her legs.

New Doctor

Are insurence changed along with our Doctor. I took Lily in for her check up ans shots. They put her in this little hospital robe. She loved wearing it. I thought it was so cute that they did that. Obviously our last Doctor's office didn't. I really like our new Doctor. Anyway this was the last time Lily didn't cry when we wnt to see the Dr. Kazi.

Hard Days

So Lily has always been able to produce tears, seriously since she was 2 weeks old. She can turn on the water works and shut them off just like that. When she is mad about something she will let you know. She is obviously mad about something and I don't know what it was. I had to laugh because I was so tired of trying to figure out what was wrong. I'm sure we've all been in times like this that you would give anything to make them stop. Even though episodes like this one might happen more frequent then I would like, I still love her and love that she is so emotional. I had to take these pictures to remember the hard times and love the good times and how fast they grow up. The reward is when she finally stops and cuddles up and gives the best hug. There is nothing better then that.

Bath Time

Lily loves taking a bath. She would stay in there all day if I let her. Even more then taking a bath she loves getting out and when I wrap her up she loves looking at herself in the mirror with her bunny towel on. She laughs at her self and makes a barking sound which is her way of making a bunny noise. She is so much fun. I love being a mom and being able so be with her all day.

Bear Lake

While we were up visiting family in Utah we had a little weekend get a way up in Bear Lake. I love going up to Bear Lake it is so beautiful. We gave Lily a bath in the sink and she was having the time of her life. I love this picture of my sister Hayley, my neice Mylee, and Lily. Mylee and Tanner love there cousin Lily. She love staring at them and laughing with them. I love being with family I am so lucky that I live so far away, but get to see my family as often as I do. It's the greatest!
